That is me, and I can play a good piano if installed in your wedding venue or give you the option of using my new Kawai piano, now available where needed for only £20 on my modest base price
While I am always delighted to find a fine piano in situ and reduce charges accordingly, if there is no piano, for a small extra charge I bring my own Roland piano which is a fine digital instrument, virtually indistinguishable in sound and musical expression from a real concert grand piano.
The Roland piano fits in easily in small and medium size locations for up to 100 guests as a general guideline using just its own excellent built-in amplification, but for larger occasions I have extra amps and PA available.
I do of course also play piano for other occasions, including family parties and get-togethers, wedding anniversaries, hotels, lunches, dinners, restaurants and corporate events, and when a French or Italian flavour is required for the proceedings my amazing Roland accordion is a very popular choice with the appropriate style of music.

I have a very wide repertoire, often playing selections of well-known songs, including jazz, pop ballads or popular classics for several hours without repetition and will try to include any special requests possible for you.
Music sounds to suit your special day
There are many parts of your great day of course and that was just about the ceremony part. I can be booked separately for various combinations of the day's celebrations.
I frequently find that a large classical influence is used in the wedding ceremony itself, going further away from that concept as the day progresses.
The classic standards jazz tunes exemplified by Sinatra and so on seem to fit the background of the drinks reception before the wedding breakfast.
During the meal itself is a good time for you to have any special songs you have requested as you are likely to be in a better position to hear them with the background buzz at a lower level due to the serious business of eating taking place!

In usually play continuously while you are eating so you do not have the embarrassment of deciding whether to abandon your meal to applaud! And it makes for a nice relaxed luxurylistening experiencewith interesting little improvisations leading to the nextmystery tune.
Remember that there are several parts of your day from the ceremony itself to the drinks reception while waiting for your meal, or the wedding breakfast itself and you can book me for a single part or combinations of it.

What space or facilities are necessary for using my digital piano?
Simply an electric socket reasonably close by to where I am required to play and a space similar to that needed for an office manager's desk. In most rooms I do not even need to bring any additional keyboard amps (which would be placed under the piano anyway.

A Varying choice of InstrumentsI can go between different instruments during different parts of the day. On occasion I have played accordion out in the garden for a drinks reception returning indoors to play either my digital piano or the hotel piano. Or I might need to have my digital piano in one room after playing the hotel piano in another. Your wedding planners at the hotel will advise you. Incidentally while most hotel pianos are kept in excellent shape, it does no harm to check that the piano will be tuned ready for your big day. You are the customer and it is your prerogerative. |
